One photography website that I’ve followed for a long time is the Visual Science Lab blog by Austin photographer Kirk Tuck. Working generally in the event, commercial, and corporate spaces, he writes frequently with a mixture of practical advice along with his opinion and philosophy around the industry and our practices.
This week he posted a short piece about some business portraits for an attorney, but it’s a great representation of his sharing style. He lays out the overall gig, talks about how he executed on the job, and shares a lot of the why behind his decisions.
If you’re not already following Kirk, consider adding his site to your reading list. You’ll learn a lot, regardless of your current level of experience.
